Thanks for the best 3 days in Phi Phi! It was great to strap a tank to my back and get in the water again after it had been so long. Ya’ll are the best.

Brilliant day. It was an overwhelming experience. Too much to take in at once.
And I will never use a shark product for as long as I live.
Thanks Andy,

Phi Phi Ley Island

Island Description:

Phi Phi Ley is one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Known infamously as the location for Leonardo Di Caprio's film "The Beach" this island has a lot to offer. The island is made up of towering limestone cliffs which form 3 main bays

Tour program:
Our tours leave generally at 08:00 a.m. and 14:00 p.m. For private charters we can special departure times.

For mixed groups we only take 6 persons per boat.

The tour is organized by our snorkeling guide.

Instead of going to the areas visited by the large busy snorkeling companies our guides will take you to more quiet locations where the snorkeling is far better due to the lack of the noise and the people.

Generally if the guests are new to snorkeling then we will start with a easy snorkelingwarm uo in the shallow Pileh Bay.

After which, we visit The Wall: a steep drop off with great fish and corals and No People!

We were still get to visit the more infamous parts of Phi Phi Ley such as Loh Samah and Maya Bay although the amount of time spent depends on how crowded the beaches are.

If there is time we shall stop for another snorkeling session.

Price includes: Mask and snorkel, fins, wetsuit, life jacket, fruit, water, and divemaster. Longtail boat and captain.

Duration: 4 hours
Earliest trip leaves at 08:00 a.m. - last trip leaves at 14:30 p.m

Pileh Bay

Pileh Bay is a small lagoon-like bay. Entrance to the bay is only at low tide although the far end of the bay drops off to form a small lagoon. A small beach is located in one corner of the bay. Juvenile Black tip Reef Sharks can sometimes be seen swimming in the shallows here.

Loh Samah Bay

Loh Samah Bay is situated at the southern end of Phi Phi Leh. The mouth of the bay is crowned by a small island that offers a nice dive. The bay has a small beach which is a nice spot to stop for a picnic. A hole in the east wall of the bay allows people to access the back end of Maya Bay.

Maya Bay

Maya Bay is the famous setting for the "The Beach". The bay is not enclosed as it seems in the film however this does not diminish the spleandor of this bay. The bay has one main beach and two minor beaches.
The main beach is patrolled by the National Marine Park rangers that collect 200 baht per person .

The Snorkeling

Amazing coral reefs fringe the whole island and range from shallow sloping reefs to drop offs that reach 24 meters in places. Overall the area is quite shallow.

We really recommend to wear the wetsuits provided as they provide protection from sunburn and stingy things.

Cost 800 baht
