CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
16 November 2007 What a day!! From two non-swimmers point of view. It was amazing! Terrified at first and I mean really nervous; I can’t swim a stroke! Our instructor was great, really helped me and encouraged me all the way! He stayed beside me through the whole thing, holding my hand and bringing me out to really deep water.
I saw amazing coral, beautiful fish and even a few small sharks. Something I thought I’d never see. Definitely couldn’t of done it without your encouragement, praise the whole lot. Thanks a million for the experience I won’t forget.
Go raish mzith agzt!

Hin Dot

Although a great dive site, Hin Dot is seldom dived since it is not suitable for students on their dive course. What this means is that one of Phi Phi's best dive sites is usually completely free of other divers and wow what a dive site.

Located at an unexpecting point at the mouth of Tonsai Bay, the top of a series of pinnacles starts at 5 meters from the surface. Looking down you will see a series of huge acropora table corals surrounded by a light green sheen of created by the corralimorphs. Dropping down onto this first pinnacle it doesn't take long to realize that this is going to be a special dive.

The first pinnacle goes as deep as 15 meters but half way down you will meet the second pinnacle that creates a canyon with the first and this is usually stuffed full of sweepers and yellow lined snappers. Continuing past the second pinnacle you will discover a series of smaller pinnacles and each one has a breathtaking amount of life on it. So many and so deep are the schools of fish here, makes photographing a real test due to the lack of light produced by the umbrella of fish.

Leopard Sharks or marble rays often lay there eggs here and this is a true testament to how unique this site is. Nudibranchs, frogfish, lionfish, triggerfish are among the list of creatures you can tick off your list of animals to see!

The Dive trip
Each dive trip starts from our Phi Phi Island base office every morning at 07:30 a.m. Our custom-made dive boat takes 30 minutes to reach the dive sites and the journey is spent briefing the divers about the sites.

This is part of a 2 dive day trip and usually Hin Dot will be picked to dive according to the best slack tide period of the day and the other dive will be conducted at either the Bida Islands or Phi Phi Ley Island.

Refreshments, water and lunches are served between the dives.
Each group of divers consists of no more than four divers per Divemaster.
