CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
Just want to say that this day has been the best day for me ever in Thailand. I have been here twice and never seen such beautiful fisches! Thank you so much!

Brilliant day. It was an overwhelming experience. Too much to take in at once.
And I will never use a shark product for as long as I live.
Thanks Andy,

Hin Daeng

Hin Daeng is one of Thailand's best dive sites with the main priority of discovering two fish species that every diver is dying to see: Whalesharks and Manta Rays.

Hin Daeng (Thai for Red Rock) is a huge underwater rocky formation located just over 60 kms from Phi Phi Island. The rock just barely protrudes out of the water by 3 meters but drops steeply back down as deep as 60 meters in some places. Due to its distance from any other land masses, the site is a magnet for fish species both reef and pelagic.

Trevallies and Rainbow Runners patrol the walls, while thousands of glassfish try to seek refuge in the many fissures. Giant morays and yellow edged morays are abundant here. You can't seem to swim for more than a few meters before you find another moray eel.

But then there are the show stealers. Manta Rays often use the ridge to glide along and do barrel rolls, and more often than not the response from the divers is: “I didn't see much else because I was too busy watching into the blue for all the Mantas!"

The Dive Trip
Due to its distance from Phi Phi Island this dive trip is conducted from a large speedboat using 3 200hp Yamaha outboard engines. Maximum amount of people including staff is 15 so book in advance. The dive trip starts at 07:30 a.m. at the Adventure Club base office on Phi Phi. From there the trip takes just under one hour on a calm day and there are opportunities to see dolphins on the way.

Between the two dives, refreshments and lunch are provided and for anyone with more energy, snorkeling over the reef can dish up a very personal encounter.

The other dive will take place on Hin Muang.

The trip is usually back to base by 15:00 p.m.
