Discover Scuba Diving

Why Discover Scuba Diving?

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of one of our PADI instructors in a pool or pool-like conditions. During your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills and then participate in two open water dives.

What do I need to start?

Minimum age: 10
A completed and signed Discover Scuba Diving brochure

What will I do?

The program will start with an hour of theory with one of our Padi instructors. This will be to explain the basics of scuba diving and to prepare you for your first experiences of breathing air underwater.

This will then be followed by two shallow dives accompanied at all times with the instructor.

The Adventure Club's policy is a maximum of 3 participants to each instructor.

Where can I go from here?

As soon as you Discover Scuba Diving, you're on your way to an internationally recognized certification. That's because you will learn skills used in the PADI Open Water Diver course during your Discover Scuba Diving adventure.

If you and your instructor elect to practice these skills, they may be credited toward the PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certifications.

The Experience

Each dive trip starts from our Phi Phi Island base office every morning at 07:30 a.m.

Our custom-made dive boat 'Reef Ranger' takes about 30 minutes to reach the dive sites and on the way guests can take in the sites and enjoy the beautiful island of Phi Phi Ley.

Each Open Water dive is conducted at the best dive sites the Phi Phi Islands have to offer. Between dives we provide refreshments such as fruit and water and and our onboard cook prepares a variety of succulent Thai dishes for lunch.

Price includes: Open Water Manual, Full equipment, BCD, Reg, Wetsuit, Mask and snorkel, fins, weights, tanks, lunch fruit, water, and PADI instructor.
