CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
16 November 2007 What a day!! From two non-swimmers point of view. It was amazing! Terrified at first and I mean really nervous; I can’t swim a stroke! Our instructor was great, really helped me and encouraged me all the way! He stayed beside me through the whole thing, holding my hand and bringing me out to really deep water.
I saw amazing coral, beautiful fish and even a few small sharks. Something I thought I’d never see. Definitely couldn’t of done it without your encouragement, praise the whole lot. Thanks a million for the experience I won’t forget.
Go raish mzith agzt!

Koh Bida Nai

Thai Name: Koh Bida Nai
Translation: Inner Bida Island
Local name: Koh Koo, (Twin islands)

This small island rock is located one kilometer south of Phi Phi Ley island. Similar to its sister island "Bida Nok" only 200 meters away, Bida Nai consists of sharp limestone cliffs, with no beaches or inhabitants except for the Brahmini Kites, Reef Egrets and Frigate birds. Should you decide to swim around the island it would take you only about one hour it's that small.

Points of interest?
* Fantasy reef is an outcrop of reef separated south of the main island by a narrow sandy divide. Here is a great opportunity to find leopard sharks sitting on the bottom or Barracudas patrolling over the mount.
* Another group of rocks south west of Bida Nai have a very interesting swim through. Pipefish and bamboo sharks are found in here while leopard sharks like to patrol around the rocks when they are feeling frisky.
* The north of Bida Nai has a spectacular wall covered with seafans and glass fish that are surrounded by trevallies hunting the smaller fish.

Bida Nai topography?
The reefs are fringing and range from gentle slopes to walls with occasional outcrops of rocks. Large fields of acropora corals on the south side, fields of sea anemones in the shallows and heavily populated wall on the north face.

This is a 2 dive day trip and usually during lunch we will moor up in one of the bays in Phi Phi Ley which gives our guests a chance to see this spectacular island and do some snorkeling. Refreshments, water and lunches are served between the dives.

Each group of divers consists of no more than four divers per Divemaster.
