PADI Dive Course – Advanced Open Water Diver

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

This course is designed for students who have completed the PADI Open Water Diver Course or any other entry level diving course.

This PADI dive course focuses on expanding your diving experiences and building the knowledge from your PADI Open Water Dive Course.

We will take you on five dives (two core & three electives, see list below) to introduce you to the advantage of diving at night, or in a current and how to plan those dives when you want to go a bit deeper.

The Experience

Each trip during the PADI dive course leaves from our Koh Phi Phi Island base office every morning at 07:30 a.m.

Our custom-made dive boat 'Reef Ranger' takes about 30 minutes to reach the dive sites and on the way guests can take in the sites and enjoy the beautiful island of Koh Phi Phi Ley. Each dive will consist of buddying up with either another student or the PADI professional leading the dive and then you're on your way.

Between dives we provide refreshments such as fruit and water and and our onboard cook prepares a variety of succulent Thai dishes for lunch.

Not only is the diving fantastic, but each diving excursion allows you to discover the real beauty of the Koh Phi Phi Islands.

Course Outline

The PADI Advanced Open Water course generally takes 2 days with an option to extend the 5th dive onto a 3rd day.

Unlike the PADI Open Water Diver Course, this PADI dive course is mostly practical work with lessons taught during the dives instead of in the classroom.

Prior to each dive, our instructors conduct a theory session and students are required to fill in the knowledge reviews.

During each dive the students will put into practice the skills they have learned. The PADI dive course includes 5 open water dives around Koh Phi Phi:

Price includes: Adventures in Diving Manual, 5 dives, full equipment, BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask and snorkel, fins, weights, tanks, lunch, fruit, water, and PADI instructor.
